General Description
Use these sturdy general purpose universal DIN rail mounting plates to mount a variety of devices to standard 35mm DIN rail. This product features a flat plate mounting surface to which you can mount your device, and a metal DIN rail bracket secures the plate to the DIN rail.
These DIN rail mounting plates are designed to provide a simple, reliable way to attach most standard 4-hole pattern mounted devices to a 35mm DIN rail. With configurable screw locations,the plates eliminate the need for custom brackets or drilling, allowing users to quickly secure components such as control modules, power supplies, terminal blocks, enclosures, and other industrial devices.
The mounting plate is made of sturdy 0.125" thick Aluminum plate material and comes with multiple long vertical screw slots for mounting your device. The positions of the screws are easily adjustable due to the ability to slide back and forth in the slot, making these plates versatile for mounting a wide varieties of devices. The plate comes with a sturdy steel DIN rail bracket (part# DINM22) installed. The DIN brackets may be purchased alone if you desire the bracket without the adapter plate.

Mounting Your Devices
To mount a device onto the plates, line up existing holes on your device with any of the long vertical screw slots on the plates, and attach with mounting hardware. To ensure both left and right plates are installed in alignment with each other, it may be easiest to temporarily latch both plates onto a scrap piece of DIN rail while attaching the plates to your device.
Installing and Removing the Plate Assembly on DIN Rail
These DIN rail plate assemblies are easily attached and detached from the DIN rail. When on the rail, the bracket latches to the rail on both the top and bottom lips of the rail. The bracket should be oriented such that the "fixed" (non spring-loaded) end of the bracket mounts to the top of the DIN rail, thus allowing the fixed end to bear the load. The spring-loaded sliding hooks will then grip the bottom of the DIN rail. This arrangement provides the greatest rigidity and load capacity.
There are two methods for removing the plate from the DIN rail:
- Lift & Pivot Method: In most cases, the simplest method is to push up on the assembly, pivot the top out away from the rail, and lower the entire assembly off the rail. This technique does not require access to the release handle on the bracket, which makes this method easier.
- Latch Release Method: If, for some reason, the Lift & Pivot method does not work for your application, you can also remove the plates from the DIN rail using the release handle on the bracket. Either pull the handle from the bottom edge of the bracket (see our lanyards, sold separately), or push the handle down from the top edge of the bracket. This releases the sliding hooks that grip the bottom of the rail and allows the bottom edge of the bracket to swing out away from the DIN rail. The entire plate and your mounted device can then be lifted off the DIN rail.
