General Description
These D-Sub #4-40 Jack Screws are an essential hardware component used to secure D-subminiature connections in electronic and computer systems.
For D-SUB Extension cables, we recommend using the 35mm Jack Screw Kit which will allow the shaft to extend through the cable and be mounted with the included nuts and washers on the back of the cable. The existing thumbscrews would be removed and the long jackscrews installed in their place. The jack screws are designed to accept the thumbscrews on a mating cable, helping secure the cable firmly in place.
