The TRG101 provides a clean, convenient interface to transition from a BNC connection to a header connection. It is ideally suited for connecting an external trigger source (e.g., signal generator) to a digital input on an oscilloscope. This is ideal for use with oscilloscopes that do not have an external trigger input. An added benefit is that the digital input used for triggering can be displayed on the oscilloscope screen. The TRG101 includes a jumper for selecting either high-impedance or 50-Ohm termination for the incoming signal, and also includes a jumper for selecting either AC or DC coupling.
The TRG101 comes with both jumpers installed. The user can easily remove either (or both) if required, based on the particular application configuration.
The rubber-feet version (TRG101-FT) comes with 4 small rubber feet that the user may choose to either install (e.g., benchtop application) or not install (e.g., panel-mount application). The DIN version (TRG101-DIN) comes with DIN clips already installed, ready to snap onto 35mm or 32mm DIN rail.

Please note that it is possible that the connector and header manufacturers and part numbers will vary from batch to batch, resulting in some very slight differences (e.g., overall length of the BNC connector). If there are any connector dimensions that are critical for a particular application, please consult with Winford Engineering to discuss.
