General Description
Use these cables to interconnect equipment which utilizes 68-pin HP DSUB (Half-Pitch DSUB) connectors. These attractive cables feature a 68-pin Male connector on one end, 8" flying leads on the other end, twisted pair wiring, foil and braided shielding, and attractive overmolded ends. Thumbscrews (#2-56 threads) secure the cable to the mating connector. Cable length is 12 feet.
Connector Details
The Half-Pitch DSUB (HPDSUB) series of connectors provides a compact arrangement of pin contacts on 0.05" centers, which is tighter than full-size DSUB connectors. The #2-56 threaded thumb screws provide a secure mechanical connection.
Twisted Pairing
This cable utilizes twisted pair wiring. The pair mapping is as follows: 1/35, 2/36 ... 33/67, 34/68. See datasheet for color codes.
