General Description
Featuring gold-clad relay contacts that will not oxidize or tarnish, this relay board provides a convenient way to switch low-level signals in your data acquisition project (e.g., multiplexing sensors being read with a single ADC input). It is also suitable for use in automated failure-injection testing (e.g., short-open testing for sensor harness FMEA verification).
This board includes four SPDT relays with convenient screw terminal connections, and includes a protection diode (across the coil of the relay) and indicator LED for each relay. The relay contacts are electrically isolated from the rest of the board, which allows the board to be used in a wide variety of applications, including both AC and DC loads. This board does not include any relay driver circuitry, but instead has direct screw terminal connections to the coils and contacts of the relays, making it well-suited for being controlled by a PLC or similar device. The board is available as a standard product with 24V DC relay coils. If a different relay coil voltage is needed for your particular application, please contact us for additional options. Please note that the relay coil voltage has no effect whatsoever on the voltages you can switch with the relay contacts.
Mounting Options
These products are available in two different mounting variants. Product numbers ending with -DIN come with DIN clips already installed and ready to snap onto 35mm or 32mm DIN rail. Product numbers ending with -FT have stick-on rubber feet installed on the bottom side, allowing for benchtop use or panel mounting. For panel mounting, we suggest 1/4" nylon standoffs under the mounting holes, and #6 screws.RLP304-24V-DIN
