General Description
Make connections quickly and reliably with this breakout board, which brings every pin of its DB15 connector out to screw terminals. These breakout boards are perfect for field wiring tasks and are designed to be mounted to a wall box plate or thin panel that has a DB15 cutout. This product is available with male or female connectors.
These DB15 breakout boards are part of the BRKQ series, which provides a clean and simple solution for terminating wires at a connector through a panel or enclosure wall.
This breakout board is perfect for production applications as well as experimentation and prototype work. It is helpful for working with I/O cards, CNC equipment, and other devices that use a DB-15 connector.
Technically, the correct term for a DB15 connector is DA15, but that term is not commonly used.

Panel Mounting
This product is designed to mount behind a panel face and extend through the panel. A cutout must be made in the panel to accommodate the connector and jackscrews. An off-the-shelf DB15 panel punch unit may also be used. To install, simply insert the connector through the panel and install the jackscrews into the connector to secure the board to the panel. For more information on appropriate panel cutout size and locations, please see the product drawing document.
